Web Hosting & Maintenance

The provision of Website Hosting, Website Maintenance, and addtional services under this agreement are as described above and for the advertised price (currently £25.75 per month) which is subject to a CPI-linked annual increase. Additional storage space or increased bandwidth may also be requested, as required, for an increased monthly charge.

Additional website design that does not fall under the description of ‘minor amends’ – such as the addition of new pages – is therefore not covered as part of this agreement but may be requested as part of a new design brief.

Login information for access to your website’s Control Panel and WordPress Dashboard will be provided once the site is live or server migration has been completed.

Domain name registration and maintenance remains your own responsibility and is not covered in this agreement. However I would be happy to recommend ionos.co.uk as a reliable and reasonably-priced domain registrar.

Payment is due monthly and will be taken on the same day (or the first working day thereafter) as that of the initial payment.

Should a payment be missed, or a direct debit rejected, an invoice will be generated and should be paid as soon as possible. Repeated payment failures will result in the suspension of all Web Hosting services – which may also include any email addresses maintained via the Control Panel.

Payment methods can be amended or cancelled via the ‘Manage Subscription’ button above.

Payment services are provided by Stripe.com

You are entitled to cancel this subscription plan at no extra cost provided you have given at least 28 days notice; however, if you are transferring to a new service provider, then you will be required to continue making payments until migration has been completed to prevent any interruption in service.

NB: Cancellation of your Web Hosting will mean that your website is ultimately deactivated – initially being replaced with a holding page before being permanently removed – this will also delete any email addresses that
have been created through your Control Panel.

If your email is maintained seperately (eg. Microsoft 365, Google Gmail etc.) then they will be unaffected as the MX DNS will be managed by your domain registrar.
